About Me
I believe that when you love something, you fall for it many times as you both grow. I've had the blessing of falling in love with design at three major points in my life.
The first was growing up in Northern New Jersey and discovering the complexity, rich history, and structures ingrained in New York City, which uncovered my natural passion for the arts at a young age. That was the catalyst of my journey toward studying Architecture at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Each year we focused on large-scale commercial building design in existing communities in Atlanta and around the world. Georgia Tech is where my passion grew from visual design to design as a process. There I learned that every design decision must be rooted in precedent studies, research, technical knowledge, and most importantly, lived experiences.
This led me to the third time design changed my life: my current role as a UX designer at The Home Depot supporting our End User Computing team. In my time at Home Depot, I've had the pleasure of working on many teams where I've supported internal products and experimented with AI at scale. In these roles I've been able to explore our variable relationships with physical and digital spaces. To explore these relationships, I believe we must first recognize the value of both sensory and emotional experiences across multiple perspectives, from the individual to the larger community. To create these memorable experiences, I aim to be an observant and empathetic designer
